Sunday afternoon in downtown Bozeman. I am sure there were better options, but we could not resist and do not regret choosing Ted’s Montana Grill. Ted Turner has a huge ranch in Montana dedicated to preserving the bison. Part of this means actually selling and using meat. Vegans and vegetarians, please just stop reading now...

The grill is in the old and beautiful Baxter Hotel. The ambience is restful and rustically elegant. The service was beyond impeccable. The food and beer were local, fresh and delicious. If you are a meat eater, the bison burger is the dish to order.

If you like to drink beer and watch college football (1 out of 2 for me!) The bar is a great place to hang out.

There is a local chocolate shop in the lobby of the hotel called La Chatelaine Chocolat...As you stand there looking at the shelves of chocolates and French macarons, you will feel transported to Paris. Elegance surrounds you, and I won’t tell if you decide to top off your meal with a little treat!
