Grand Haven, MI
After several states of cornfields after cornfields, Michigan was a real treat! Trees, rivers, light rain, dark clouds were a refreshing change. After a very long drive, although going through 3 states in 5.5 hours doesn’t seem that long, we checked in to our campground at Eastpointe Resort RV Park in Grand Haven, MI. We were fortunate to get a spot facing the river, and grabbed an Uber to Snug Harbor for dinner, which was also waterfront. The reviews on this park talked about it being next to a sewer treatment plant, so we made sure to get a spot as far away from that as possible. Truth, I didn’t smell any bad odors anywhere in the park, but summer may be different. In the fall no reservations necessary. In the summer, this is a highly trafficked tourist area so plan ahead.
